My beach art

My diorama

Where am I describing?

Where am I describing?
The car park is full, and there are colossal buses because all the children from different schools come on a school trip to this place.

The artificial lights shine down at the antique sculptures from the past hundred million years.
As you walk through the entrance, there are high selling inside this place.
As the sliding glass doors slowly glide open a lady behind the counter greets you with a warm smile.
Money is exchanged for tickets.
Up the spiral staircase exhibits await  with information to read and pictures to observe.
BOOM, BANG ! Sounds of a volcanic explosion calls people into a large room containing model volcanoes, diagrams and videos.
In a neighbouring room, bird noises echo and 3D models of native New Zealand birds can be observed.
Another area is rich with NZ culture.
You can also see a drum set and each drum makes a different sound each time you hit one of the drums.

Write a prediction

(Prediction: Lili is sick and Ana delivers circulars with Lili on their buggy but Lili is sick so Ana has to by herself. Ana’s delivering circulars on her buggy. Ana takes the buggy’s brake off for a second and then it takes off into the streets like mad. Bad worries go across her mind about her not being paid for this mistake when suddenly she crashes really bad. The circulars go flying and are damaged which causes her to lose her job.

WALT-Evaluate our prediction after(Junk Mail by Prue Hilson, Pt3,no.3 1995) I would give my prediction a 5 out of 10. I correctly predicted that Lili was sick so Ana went to do deliver the circulars. However I didn’t predict that Ana as was not supposed to deliver the circulars.

Georges Grandma

George’s Grandma
Is your grandma loving, happy and kind well if she is, she’s very different to George's Grandma.

George’s grandma doesn’t smile very often and if she does she leans forward with a icy smile and shows her pale brown teeth.

She eats slugs, beetles, earwig, snail, and the one thing that George absolutely hates cabbage. Grandma always says boys should grow down not up. She says cabbage makes you grow down and chocolate makes you grow up.

Now if only there was a type of medicine that could change that terrible disgusting old hag.

Year 4 school camp

Dear Mrs Ritchie
I am writing to express my opinion about why year 4’s should also go to camp.

You may believe that year 4 students are too young or immature to go to camp. However I disagree because an activity such as kayaking teaches us water safety and helps  improve our swimming, which are important skills we need right now.

Another activity such as archery would develop our aiming skills for sports such as dodgeball and shot put .

Please consider these ideas carefully.

I look forward to hearing back from you.

Kind regards

a letter from Gallipoli

Dear Zara
There are loud noises from big guns as the bullet shot quickly across the sky here on Galipoli.
Soldiers hide underground in a small holes.
People get killed in war as they use different weapons.
I am making ANZC biscuit for the soldiers that are fitting in war.

People suffer death from the BOM!
